I believe that every single woman reading this can be a financially savvy, badass CEO. But you kind of need a financial business plan first.
Not only will this give you a strategy, but it will give you a vision to work towards in your biz.
When you run into roadblocks in your business (which you absolutely will) it is this financial planning and vision that will keep you going!
In this blog post we will talk about how to create a financial business plan, and the 5 easy steps to make it happen.
How to create a financial business plan (the easy way)
For an easy financial business plan, you’ll need a couple of things first.
Firstly, you’ll need to know where you’re going.
The vision stage is just as important as the actual plan to get there! I can pretty much guarantee that money manifestations in your business won’t work if you don’t have a clear idea of where you want to go.
Secondly, you will need some actual action steps.
Setting the vision is only the first part of the equation- then you need a way to get there!
So if this is the year you actually reach your financial business goals, then keep reading.

Step Number 1: Dream and Visualize the outcome of your financial business plan
If you want to create a financial business plan that you will ACTUALLY stick to, you must start with your dream.
Where are you going? What are you going to do with your one precious life?
And these aren’t just your financial goals. Those feelings aren’t strong enough.
You need to dream even BIGGER.
How will you impact people? Where will you live? How will you show people you love them and use your business to change the world?
Once you have your dream in place, you need to start visualizing it.
Visualizing is the process where you imagine how your dream will FEEL- how will you carry your energy, what thoughts will you have when you reach your goal.
Some things you can start visualizing:
- Holidays you will take and what each part will look, feel, taste and smell like
- What you will do to help support your family and what energy will it create
- The clients you will help with your business
- The team you are going to have to scale your business
Once you imagine all of this, you can draw on these energies to get you to your goals faster.

Step Number 2: Remember Your Why
I don’t care if it sounds cliche- remembering your why is one of the key factors in a successful financial business plan.
For me, financial success and freedom means that I am living my life on my own terms. It means that I am running a business that is impacting the world.
You are not creating a plan for how to grow wealth- you are creating a plan for you “why” that wealth will simply help to execute!
Step Number 3: Face Your Fears
Everybody has money fears, no matter how long they have been an entrepreneur.
I had one of my biggest financial years ever in 2019, and there are still things I have to deal with every single day!
The difference? I am EXCITED to work on my limiting beliefs.
Why? Because it means that I am ready for the next amazing thing that will help me live the life I desire.
Limiting beliefs are common when you are trying to uplevel your life, and it is SO important to be brave and face them as soon as possible.
Some common fears that I see come up for my clients at this stage are things like:
- “Who am I to charge this much for my services? Nobody would ever pay that much”
- “I have never made money before so I can’t now”
- “I can’t make money doing what I love, I have to pick the safe option”
- “My work field is not a profitable one”
These are all natural fears- but you can’t stay in this state if you are going to grow for real in 2020!
If you need help facing these limiting money fears head on, my 1:1 financial coaching might be the perfect solution for you! Find out how we can work TOGETHER to take your business mindset to the next level by clicking here.

Step Number 4: Plan your money
A budget might seem boring (or even scary!), but managing your wealth is just as important as learning how to make it.
One of the mistakes I see my 1:1 financial coaching clients make as new entrepreneurs is to ignore their money systems.
If you can’t organize and keep track of the money you have now, how on earth will you cope when there is a lot of it?
Tracking your income and expenses NOW will help you manage and grow your wealth better in the FUTURE. If you need help to start, you can download this free easy budget template for entrepreneurs that I made just for you!

Step Number 5: Take action
Before you take action, you must put in the mindset work I’ve listed above.
Remember: Put the destination in first so your GPS can give you the steps!
Taking action feels good and productive, but your business will not last if you don’t have a dream that you can visualize.
If you skip the mindset stage, you will give up as soon as it gets hard or you don’t get the money you thought you would. If you skip the budget stage, you will struggle to create tangible steps and stay in control of your money while it grows.
