Are you asking yourself, what if they don’t buy because it’s too expensive? How can I charge that much? Nobody will want my product to that price! Well, don’t worry, you are not the only one who has been there. There are just a normal questions when pricing your services or products as an entrepreneur; a thing I like to call “The price fear”.
Most of the entrepreneurs and especially female entrepreneur don’t feel comfortable around pricing their creations or talking about it. And what is worse, they neither understand that the value of each piece of work should be translated into your product or service prices.
This kind of behaviour may be a result of past experiences or limiting beliefs holding you back to be open to receive the value of your work.
Today I invite you to free yourself of this feeling and get empower to achieve everything you want. Don’t let yourself to get on the way between you and your success by doing these steps:
1. Self mirror confrontation.
Do you recognize how valuable you are? Yes, you are absolutely valuable, and so is your work.
Embrace your intelligence and dedication and face the fact you deserve to earn the money you want and you will.
The moment you confront yourself, you will be asking your mind to identify and empower that woman in front of you as the worth of being wealthy that she is.
In other words, just give permission to yourself to be wealthy and successful.
2. Do Market research.
The best way to realize if you are underpricing your services/product is by comparing it with the market.
Start looking actively on the different platforms similar products or services to yours and create a spreadsheet where you compare the type of product, the owner and the price. This is call on marketing benchmarking. And it is exactly what big companies do to launch a new product to the market with a competitive yet fair price for their products/services.
3. Make a Budget.
A budget is the money plan where you can allocate every piece of income towards your goals and obligations.
But from a money freedom point of view, a budget will determine how much money you will need to make to cover your needs (Your expenses). If you don’t feel comfortable enough to make a decision around your price, then let your needs to give you an idea about how much money you will need to cover them.
3. Say your price and remind on silent.
Once you have figured the price and you feel comfortable with your product/service value, then start pitching it.
Don’t hold yourself back or give yourself reasons to doubt about it; Remember, you are the one getting on the way between you and your success.
Pitch your price and take a deep breath and remind on silent, let the other person decide either she/he is ready to take it not.
4. Be prepare to be rejected and undervalued.
People may not be ready to take your services at the price you have set up. However, it doesn’t mean you will need to drop prices to catch them or that you are doing something wrong.
If you’ve compared yourself with the market and you feel your price is fair for you then let them prepare themselves for future opportunities with you.
Don’t take rejection personal either any comment that makes you decrease your prices. They may come back to you once they are ready to make the transformation.
