“Money mindset shifts come every single time as long as you know that working on your money mindset is not a one-time thing. Every time you hit a new milestone, new money blocks will pop up, and there is an opportunity for you to work on them.”
Often, the question among my clients inside of the IMM Space, “How do people that are already making millions with their businesses think?” “Do they even need a money mindset to work?”
Over and over, my answer is the same one, we ALL need money mindset work. But, I know there is a chance you may believe I’m biased just because I’m a money mindset expert and coach, so I’ve asked the questions to a fellow female business owner, founder of the FCC, badass Nora Brown.

With a background in neuropsychology, Nora is a mad scientist and total geek regarding mindset, human behavior, and buyer’s psychology. With more than a decade of experience and helping thousands of entrepreneurs, she turned her passion & obsession into multiple 7-figure businesses.
Thank you so much for joining us on this important topic of how to shift your money mindset as a female entrepreneur. Let’s start:
As a Multiple 6 figures business, what do you think is the right money mindset to adopt?
To stop focusing on the money. I am fully aware that new entrepreneurs who haven’t reached the 6-figure mark are obsessed with getting there.
Maybe even coming to a point where they can just pay their bills. We have zero control over the decisions we make. Our subconscious makes decisions for us in less than 0.13 milliseconds – every millisecond of the day.
Working from a lack and desperate-for-money place actually drives behavior that creates more lack and stress. Instead, become crazy comfortable with money. Act from a place of confidence and serving.
Do things that make you FEEL rich. Chasing people in DM’s really does not do that. When I started out, I always carried a 100euro bill in my purse. I didn’t spend it. But seeing it every time I opened my purse made me feel rich. Invest in products that make you feel rich.
… My guilty pleasure is everything Rituals.
What did you use to believe about money?
That I needed to hustle 24/7, needed to have ish degrees, and that it was complicated to get to a level of financial freedom.
And that it was only reserved for some in the world. All of it lies haha.
Honestly, it is so freaking easy to become financially abundant, working just some hours per day. I have 20-hour workweeks, and my business generates around 1.5million per year (turnover, not profit).

How did you grow up with the money?
My parents were from a middle-class family. We had enough money to live comfortably. That being said, I grew up with a lack mindset.
I always had to save, buy things in promotion, get that fake brand, be prepared for my pension, work hard (and for heaven’s sake, don’t call in sick!).
Even today, every time I purchase something, my parents will ask – first thing – “How much did that cost?”. I was pushed into believing that I needed to be top of my class in school and that you could only have a pension if you worked hard. From university to pension was a “you have to suck it up”- feeling.
What were some of the hesitations you had when just starting the FCC when it comes to money?
I’m not a new kid on the block. I have been coaching for more than a decade now. So money-wise, I am covered. I could retire today if I wanted to.
The FCC is my passion project because I fucking care that other female coaches also create this abundance. It is the best feeling in the world. That being said, I had SO MUCH resistance starting the FCC.
Mainly coming from imposter syndrome, doubting whether I am worth it. Which seems silly after working with thousands of people. I guess the second hesitation is pricing. I have no problem saying with full confidence that if you want to hire me 1:1, it will be 10k.
But for the FCC, since my live presence is limited, I feel resistance. Just to see that as a neuropsychologist who has been a mindset coach for a decade, how hard it is to shake of old beliefs. It just becomes easier to push through them. It helps that i love everything about the FCC.

In your words, what are 3 specific characteristics of a rich person’s mindset?
We focus on a growth mindset and see opportunities in everything. Not only see them but act upon them. We don’t care what people think of it. You can’t have lovers without haters.
We stay ourselves unapologetically. No amount of money is worth a crappy or fake feeling. This is also what gives us confidence. Knowing that people out there need us just as we are.
We understand that no one knows what works for us. Copying will never work out. We have to create our own rules and framework, which requires tons of trial and error. We are leaders. Not followers. Followers copy. Leaders inspire action.
From the coaches in the FCC collective, What are the top 3 mistakes coaches make killing their money?
- Greed: wanting top dollar money while not establishing their coaching brand. Business, and coaching, is not a get rich quickly. It can take months.
- Focusing on money instead of the clients. You are a coach, you impact lives. That’s a massive responsibility. You need to deeply care. If money is your focus instead of the humans, people will smell it and not work on you. You might also be wondering if coaching is on you.
- Limiting themselves, thinking that coaching is just 1:1 or group coaching. A coach delivers a transformation that can be done through any format. That was the main reason why I created the 90-Day Profit Plan.
- I am going to be a rebel and give 4. Not learning more about human behavior, decision making, and buyer’s psychology. It literally kills your bank account. You need to become obsessed with it. You’ll thank me later :).
Can you share with us any mindset tips you still carry?
Working on your money mindset is not a one-time thing. New money blocks will pop up every time you hit a new milestone.
Secondly, understand that you are not in control. Working on your mindset consistently is 90 percent of your success.
Thirdly, you can’t and don’t have to do it on your own. You need help. Everyone does. Asking for help is brave, not weak. Fourthly, you are not here on this planet to be average. You are here to make an impact. Claim it.
